“Self-care doesn’t mean me first, it means me too!”
My favourite part of being a beauty and microblading therapist is connecting with people by bringing self-care to their day. We're all important. Yet, we often find taking care of ourselves selfish or don’t have the time to invest in self-care. When in fact, it’s the most important thing we can do. How can we be at our best to help others when we're not looking after and loving ourselves?
Suppose I can help someone feel more confident with newly-shaped brows or truly rejuvenated after having a luxurious pedicure, a deeply relaxing massage to help with those aches and pains, or a super refreshing and meditative facial that leaves their skin feeling healthy and fresh. I aim to achieve this with every one of my clients. And if I do, I have done my job well.
